Round Table China: “Which industries will accelerate change amid the epidemic?”

The coronavirus keeps spreading all around the world. People are confined to their homes to prevent coronavirus outbreak. The topic of Round Table China is going to discuss which industries and how people's life would be changed during the epidemic. People are more creative at home and what role Female play in fighting the coronavirus. The podcast was provided by Podcastcp and China Plus on 6th March. The internet has played an important role in this epidemic. Chinese people tend to use online shopping to buy stuff and make orders such as Taobao or other mobile phone apps. The government promotes and encourages “Home office” to all companies which are more flexible to employees. Students also attend online courses which are provided by their teacher. Taking an exam at home is usually that student needs to make an answer on the question sheet and then take a photocopy, send it back to their teacher. I reckon that this is a special period for us to adapt to a new way of life. No matter what happens, we can be flexible.

The host said that people are more creative at home. For example, people would like to rewrite lyrics and make a song of fighting coronavirus. It is sending out a positive message to the public and gives support to medical workers. These videos have a million views on social media. In addition, many females are recognized by their contributions like the medical staff and Yang Jianhua, the chief architecture designer of Leishenshan Hospital Yang Jianhua. They make an effort to fight coronavirus in their own way. We all respect those who give behind.
